Character of
Director's Villa
The sloping plot with a charming view to the west of the landscape inspired us to create a sharply cut architecture boldly penetrating the surrounding wild nature. The three-story mass of the house is set into the slope so that it gently levitates towards the valley above the dramatically shaped slope full of greenery. The goal is to leave as many mature trees as possible and to have as little interference with the morphology of the terrain as possible.
The warm shade of the wooden cladding contrasts with the black metal of the sheeting, windows and railings. Generous window areas support the connection of the interior with the romantic exterior. The railing is designed as a subtle construction with cable braiding, which enhances the compact mass as well as the airiness of the adjacent terraces.
The layout of the family house offers a spacious living space, three full-sized rooms and three spacious bathrooms. In the basement we can find a spacious cellar and a small family wellness area.
